The Gold Demand Trends Q1 2018 report released
世界黄金协会日前发布2018年第一季度《黄金需求趋势报告》显示，2018年第一季度黄金市场表现温和，需求量共计973吨，这是2008年以来最低的第一季度数据。
World Gold Council recently released the Gold Demand Trends Q1 2018 report shows, gold demand had a soft start to 2018, reaching 973 tonnes (t), the lowest first quarter since 2008.
世界黄金协会市场信息部负责人表示，相对稳健的全球经济增长及2月份资本市场的震荡回升，为黄金第一季度的需求创造了较为稳定的环境。
Head of Market Intelligence at the World Gold Council, commented: "Relatively solid global economic growth, coupled with the return of volatility in the capital markets in February, created a stable environment for gold in Q1. "
报告显示，一季度全球金饰需求约为488吨，同比下降1%。
The report shows that global jewellery demand was roughly flat at 488t, down 1% on Q1 2017.

BASF and Solenis to Join Forces by Combining Paper and Water Chemicals Businesses
巴斯夫与索理思日前签署协议，巴斯夫湿端造纸化学品和水处理化学品业务将与索理思联合经营。
BASF and Solenis have signed an agreement to join forces by combining BASF’s paper wet-end and water chemicals business with Solenis.
巴斯夫将持有联合公司49% 的股份，该公司将以索理思的名字运营，总部设在美国特拉华州。
BASF will hold a 49% share of the combined entity that will operate under the Solenis name and be headquartered in Delaware, USA.

UBS Asset Management ('UBS AM') announced that UBS Asset Management (Shanghai) Limited, its wholly foreign-owned enterprise, has launched its first onshore fixed-income fund: "UBS (CN) China Ultra Short Income Bond Private Fund Series 1", which will now be registered with the Asset Management Association of China.

霍尼韦尔宣布任命沈斌担任霍尼韦尔中国总裁一职，此任命5月7日生效。他将直接向霍尼韦尔全球高增长地区总裁沈达理汇报。
Honeywell announced that Bin Shen was appointed as President of Honeywell China, effective May 7, 2018. Bin will directly report to Shane Tedjarati, President of Honeywell Global High Growth Regions.
